Original music by Jan Morgenstern. Running time is approximately 11 minutes. Elephants Dream is a story about communication and fiction, made purposefully open-ended as the world's first 3D animated "Open movie". A co-production of Montevideo and Blender Foundation.

This short is disturbingly great! The animation is flawless, the imagination it took to create that fantastic machine is mind boggling! I am guessing the mind of the old man see things in a different way, while the younger one have a different perspective of his surroundings. The short made me think, and after seeing it more than once I started catching up and letting my imagination wild. As Isabella, I also like the music. Overall, I wish the short weren't so... well, short. I would like to see more, to get a better grasp on what the makers wants us to believe.

Great job overall. At the beginning, the audio is too low, and later it's perhaps a little too loud (well, at times). The voiceover work don't always actually match the movement of the lips of each of the characters. I love the sound effects, though. Very professional. There isn't much of a story, and if there is, I've completely missed it. But again, the movie is so visually stunning, it kinda doesn't matter if it doesn't makes sense. It's still very entertaining. Some parts kinda reminded me of "The Matrix" (the phone scene, the pods, all the cables, the machines, etc.). I really like the music too. Specially during the credits. Well done folks!

Elephants Dream is the story of two strange characters exploring a capricious and seemingly infinite machine. The elder, Proog, acts as a tour-guide and protector, happily showing off the sights and dangers of the machine to his initially curious but increasingly skeptical protege Emo. As their journey unfolds we discover signs that the machine is not all Proog thinks it...
